Product Description
Combizym is used in patients with conditions such as cystic fibrosis, chronic pancreatitis, or after pancreatic surgery who have insufficient exocrine secretion.
Combizym is available as oral tablets, where each tablet contains a combination of pancreatin and enzymes extracted from Aspergillus oryzae. Pancreatin works by supplementing the digestive enzymes (amylase, lipase, and protease) that are normally produced by the pancreas. These enzymes help break down carbohydrates, fats, and proteins in the digestive tract, aiding in proper digestion and nutrient absorption.
