We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Medical Affairs Manager for our Oncology division who will report directly to the VP, RA & MA. This crucial role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive medical affairs strategies that support our regional oncology business objectives across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong SAR, and the MENA regions. You will play a crucial role in managing medical affairs functions and ensuring the success of our products in the market.

Primary duties and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the regional leadership team to develop and implement medical affairs strategies that support our regional business objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance and coordination to local medical teams to drive medical strategies, launch readiness, and tactical execution.
  • Offer medical expertise to support the development of core business materials, including safety label updates, local registration dossiers, risk minimization plans, and adverse event management.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, payers, and healthcare professionals, leveraging their insights in the oncology therapeutic area.
  • Guide the development and execution of effective reimbursement and market-access strategies to maximize product availability and patient access.
  • Serve as the medical expert in the disease area, providing training to the regional sales force and facilitating best practice sharing across teams.
  • Implement resources, skills, and capabilities to support effective regional medical affairs activities and provide robust business support.
  • Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials to ensure compliance with local/regional regulations.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the company.

    Qualifications

    • 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in medical affairs.
    • Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or a PhD in a life science field, with a strong background in Oncology.
    • Proven experience in a regional or cross-functional medical affairs role.
    • Comprehensive understanding of medical and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence key stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and manage complex projects.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Proactive and adaptable, with a readiness to tackle new challenges.
    • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
